Workplace Resource Group (WRG) is proud to do our part as good citizens of the Earth. We believe that simply changing our everyday habits can have positive effects on the planet. For instance, we have reduced our dependence on electricity by shutting off lights in the office that are not absolutely necessary and using motion sensor lighting in areas that automatically turn off the lights when a room is not in use. We also switched to recycled items in our breakroom/kitchen.
In an effort to reduce paper waste, “hard copies” have been significantly reduced and replaced with “soft copies” that can be shared digitally between team members. When we must use paper documents, we are diligent in our recycling efforts. Reducing our use of disposable goods and cutting back on our energy consumption are just a few of the ways that we try to be environmentally responsible.
Many products throughout the office are made from recycled and “green” materials. We are continuing to seek other ways to reduce our negative impact on the Earth. We align ourselves with manufacturers that are good stewards of the environment who are making “green” choices every day by developing products that are recycled, recyclable and friendlier to our planet.
